Periscope, live video streaming...

We are trialling a live streaming app. We hope to use it this Friday during the easter bonnet parade. Parents/carers will be able to watch the parade in real time, it is also possible to leave comments during the broadcast. In order to watch the parade live, parents/carers will need to download the free periscope app and follow @ChildwallPri

The saved broadcast will be available via our twitter account. If the trial is successful then it may be extended to school trips, class events etc.

For it to be judged successful, it will not only include overcoming any technical challenges, but importantly, wether parents/carers actually watch the broadcast live. Otherwise, a recorded video is more practical.

We will aim to send out a text 10 minutes before any live streaming.
